New Melbourne Browncoats

Hi there, and welcome to our new name, our new home, and the launch of our new season of Can’t Stop The Serenity 2011!

We have recently become an incorporated non-profit group, in order to preserve and build our local Browncoat community.

Benefits of Incorporation include:

Incorporation gives us a framework within which to operate. We will have a Committee of Management, whose roles can be handed on to new Browncoats as time goes by.

By having a more formal, and legally recognised, structure, New Melbourne Browncoats will continue to successfully fundraise for both local and global charities. Handling of funds will be even easier and more transparent.

We will continue to organise great functions for local Browncoats. We will have a cohesive and involved member base, and we will continue to be an important part of the global Browncoat community.

Tonight we are also announcing details of our Can’t Stop The Serenity Season 2011.
